Here's a delicious recipe for Chocolate & Hazelnut Porridge topped with banana!
Perfect for a nutritious breakfast or snack, packed with protein and fibre to keep you fuelled all day.
Chocolate & Hazelnut Porridge Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 40g oats
- 2 tbsp Blend Nutrition Chocolate & Hazelnut mix
- 1 tsp cocoa powder (optional for extra chocolatey flavour)
- 200ml milk (or any plant-based milk of your choice)
- 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
- 1 banana, sliced
- A sprinkle of chopped hazelnuts (optional)
- Pinch of salt (optional)
Instructions:
- In a saucepan, combine oats, Blend Nutrition Chocolate & Hazelnut mix, cocoa powder, and a pinch of salt.
- Add the milk and stir well to combine. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the porridge thickens and the oats are soft (about 5-7 minutes).
- Once the porridge is ready, remove from the heat and stir in the honey or maple syrup (if using).
- Pour the porridge into a bowl, top with sliced banana, and sprinkle with chopped hazelnuts for extra crunch.
